About Us: The Halo Food Project is a non-profit organization committed to providing farm-direct fresh and healthy food brands and products to those in need. We believe in the power of community and the importance of food security for all.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase our online presence and engagement.
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) across various social media platforms.
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a “social” way while cultivating leads and donations.
  • Analyze key metrics and adjust strategy as needed.
  • Collaborate with other team members to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in social media management.
  • Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
  • Positive attitude, detail-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
  • Great at creating engaging content.
  • Passion for the mission of The Halo Food Project.
  • May be required to take a criminal background check.

The Halo Food Project seeks dedicated Office Support Volunteers to join our team at our Office!


Position Description:


Location: The Halo Food Project Office Warehouse


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with organizing and managing warehouse inventory
  • Help with receiving deliveries and farm produce pickups for distribution.
  • Support office tasks such as data entry and record keeping
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations


Requirements:

  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift and move boxes up to 30 lbs
  • Basic computer skills for office tasks
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and take initiative.


What We Offer:

  • Pay $18-22 hr
  • Flexible schedule (2-3 days a week) between 5-10 hours a week

Paid Opportunity: Experienced Truck Driver

Driver Description: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe driving, experience with medium-heavy duty trucks, and excellent customer service skills. This role is crucial in ensuring that groceries are made on time and in excellent condition.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a commercial truck (30 feet long) to deliver food to various locations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance of the vehicle.
  • Interact professionally with clients and recipients.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
  • Complete delivery paperwork and logs accurately.


Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license (CDL or B-Class).
  • Excellent driving record with no recent traffic violations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience driving large step vans and or large box trucks.
  • Neat, and tidy appearance.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
  • Honest, diligent, and reliable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to undergo a criminal background check.
  • Provide necessary proof, licenses, and documentation upon request.
